Tomato and Basil One-Pan Pasta


  • 350g spaghetti, cut in half
  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 200g tomato blocks
  • 1 handful fresh basil leaves
  • 60g grated parmesan
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1L water



  1. Throw the spaghetti, olive oil, tomato paste, tomato blocks, garlic and 1 teaspoon of salt in a pan.
  2. Add the water and bring to medium-high heat until it boils. Frequently stir the spaghetti, until it is al dente and the sauce has reduced (around 10 minutes).
  3. Add the parmesan and stir.
  4. Season if necessary, serve with basil leaves and parmesan.
